MicWorm is a history lesson of the hip-hop music genre, by encapsulating and recording the decadal movements, fluid cultures, geographic influences and historical events that moulded the industiral scene we know today.
I have applied a clean and striking presence to its visual identity, focusing on the attentive choice of neutral colours and pop-art-meets-street-grafitti styling, that could fit with the iconic visual themes of street culture and hard hitting boom-bap beats.
An impactful scrollable landing page with a simple toggleable navigation menu, a thematic preloader, neutral palettes and responsive design.
This site was developed using the Django Web Framework and a customised installation of Wagtail CMS for easy content creation and blog posting.
